Bad Weekend
The weekend is proving to be difficult for working out. I'm still pretty sore from Thursday but two days of no doing anything and I am not happy with my self. Tonight I start again and this week I am writing out a meal plan and I am sticking to it!

Day 4
Lets just get this out of the way now... Dear P90X: I hate you. Good I feel better now. Not really. I had a set of stairs that was going to win. I made it up them but I blame that I was at a wine and food expo, so I was numb from the taste buds down. I was supposed to do "YogaX" BUT my downstairs neighbor is out of town again so I decided to give "Plyometic" a go. So umm OUCH. Made it though 30 minutes. The did "abripper". OWWWW. Then I think I laid on the mat in my living room for a while and swore at the TV. Sooo..... food.... not going to type what I ate today. Not much and then I had a little bit of everything at the Wine and Food Expo. So... still drinking. HAHA.

Day 3
It was hard getting my self up and around today. It felt like my eyes were glued together. However once up and around, after getting my son to the Boys & Girls Club, Cori and I did a walk around the block. We ran out of time before being able to do much but at least I got out of the house. I had hoped to do today's workout after work but, of course, life and responsibilities got in the way like they normally do. Once Avery was put to bed (and after a bit of procrastinating) I did the disk except for the last 8 minutes which I laid on the floor swearing at the TV. Not necessarily the work out plan but I felt much better for it. I'm going to count taking out the three garbage bags and the recycling out to the curb as the last of the workout. I gotta be honest with you, I'm too freaking pooped to go the "AbRipper" right now. I'm doing it first thing in the morning after I take Avery to school. For tonight I am going to crawl into bed early and get a good nights rest.
Breakfast: egg white(ish) omelet with spinach and weight watchers cheese (doesn't melt like other cheeses which is kind of weird)
Snack: A Bloody Mary (that counts as a veggie right?)
Lunch: For the life of me I can't remember
Dinner: Pan seared tilapia with a side of brown rice and avocado.
Snack: Little bit of chips with Avery

Day 1ish, but kind of 2... ish
Yesterday, between my deep tissue massage, helping my brother out, a good friend visiting from out of town and sort of getting broken up with I wasn't able to start the 1st disk. But because you either need a pull up bar OR one of those cable thingys to put on the door I wasn't able to do "Back and Shoulders" anyway. Doesn't excuse the fact that I didn't do "AbRipper" but I'm promise (fingers crossed) that I will be better. I hope.
Today has proven to be much more productive. My best friend and I went for a 1/2 hour brisk walk at the park this afternoon (mostly to talk about the ish-breakup but we made it a productive gab session). Then work, which was slow but I was mentally preoccupied, so I wasn't terribly upset about it. I had a lot of running around to do but I managed to get to Wal-Mart to see if they had any Kashi frozen meals. They did! And even better it was on sale! It's going to be my lunch for the next few days. I started to do "Plyometric" but my windows were shaking and the floor was really squeaking! I have to do it when I know my downstairs neighbor isn't home. So I switched to "CardioX" and finished most of it. I got a little bored so I figured I would walk/run around the block and then go pick up my son. After I got Avery we went to my mothers house around the corner so I could mow her front and back lawn. All in all I am tired and looking forward to tomorrow. "Shoulders and Arms" and "AbRipper".
Breakfast: 6 cheese squares and a small apple
Lunch: House Salad with grilled chicken. Italian and ranch dressing
Post WorkOut: Kashi frozen dinner over top of a bed of spinach
Dinner: Korean Beef with sauteed veggies and brown rice
Not bad huh?

T Minus a few hours and counting
Let the pain begin! I did manage to pick up heavier weights from Wal-Mart today (8 lbs). It's amazing how heavy that feels to me. I'm getting excited and a little nervous at the prospect of really starting this endeavor. Hopefully I'll have the mats for my living room by Weds. which I believe is the "Polymetric" day. It's a lot of jumping squats and my floors are ancient so it's going to be noisy for my downstairs neighbor. Maybe I'll tell him to turn up Lady Gaga and try and ignore me.
Still haven't gotten my before picture. It would seem that my house has eaten my camera. Spit it up house! I need it back!!
As far as my diet goes (which really isn't a diet, it's more trying to avoid anything fast food and fried) I'm doing pretty good. Had a weak moment last night but I was intoxicated so it seemed like a good idea at the time. I wonder if I should start packing something to eat for when I go out. It would save me from hearing the late night call of Taco Hell.
Today for dinner we had: Pan seared turkey breast with quinoa, zucchini and red peppers. YUMMO!

Pre 90
Well, I've just plain had enough. Each year I get a little bigger and then the fight to make it go away is that much harder. I mean, with all the great food, beer, wine and all the sodium one can comsume how are we stupposed to stay thin?? Genetics are against me. I don't have the thin gene. P90x here I come. I have pretty much everything except something to do the pull ups with. I'm hoping they will have an alternative to actual pullups. Plus I need to get a little heavier weights. I don't know, I'm excited about this. A good friend of mine is getting me pads for my floor. I don't want my downstairs neighbor to think that I am having mad wild orgies upstairs. Heh. Tomorrow I'll get my prepictures taken. Then I figure maybe once a week. This should be interesting.
